Rebekah had her first IV treatment yesterday at the hospital. The first one has to be done in a hospital setting in case their is a reaction. We were there about 3 hours from start to finish but that was mostly because they were quite busy. Everything went well, and Bekah was a trooper. They were impressed with how well she did. They were good to us and even gave us lunch, a turkey dinner!
Tonight she had her second treatment and this was the first one with VON. They were here a little over an hour, mostly due to paperwork. Our living room now looks like a hospital room with IV's hanging etc. Rebekah is doing ok, but did have some trouble after this treatment with a little wooziness, and feeling spacey. We have another friend going through the same treatment and she has these same symptoms. So she will just have to lay low for a bit after treatment. Will keep you posted.
