Sorry I have not posted lately, but there has not been much to report. Rebekah is still unwell, complaining more about the pain in her knees(Lyme arthritis) then she has before, which means the oral antibiotics are not helping yet. We know this can be a long process to get her better, but we also know that one antibiotic alone is usually not going to cure Lyme. This is why we are fighting for her to get the IV Rocephin that she needs. We are battling doctors on getting her treatment because they don't want to believe that she has Lyme, saying that the testing she had(Western Blot) is not accurate. We know this is not true, and are not sure where they are getting their information, we think they are just misinformed. As of Wednesday of last week, we now have two labs saying she is positive for Lyme disease, how can they dispute that? We took it to our MLA, and he sent a letter to the minister of health. We just found out that she is going to intervene in Rebekah's case, so we are hoping to have positive results from that, but still are a bit worried. Hopefully we will have some treatment started by next week.
