We have had another change. We were back to the IWK yesterday, and they did another MRI with a different view and now they think it is a tumor not a cyst. This changes things immensely. So today we were back to the IWK to get some blood work done to see if they could pick up the "tumor markers" in her blood. We also met with the Neurosurgery nurse(who has been wonderful all along) and a social worker and a child advocate for the IWK, so they could start explaining to Rebekah some of the things to expect. We are staying in Halifax overnight as tomorrow they are expecting to do a spinal tap if the blood work does not show the markers. We heard from our GP a bit ago and she said the blood work did not pick it up, but we have not heard from the neurosurgeon yet, he said he would get back to us tomorrow morning. So our guess is there will be a spinal tap tomorrow and then we go from there as to what is the next step.
On a more positive note, we did finally find a doctor willing to see Rebekah and treat her for Lyme Disease, and we are suppose to see him next Thursday, although we are not sure that will happen with all that is going on with her right now, we certainly need to take care of this first. Please continue to pray for Rebekah and our family, we are overwhelmed with all this news.

My prayers are with you today. I shared this with my friends at work who are thinking maybe it's all lyme since that can make brain lesions? I pray that if the spinal tap needs to happen, the process will be endurable for every one. You are in my heart and thoughts,
