We have just arrived back from Port Hawkesbury. We had a good trip,and Rebekah was doing well the past two days, we love those days.
The appointment went well. Dr.Boucher is willing to treat Rebekah for her Lyme Disease, Yay! This is wonderful news, as it has been such a battle to get her treatment. He wants her to start another mix of oral antibiotics first, as the two drugs he is putting her on have worked well for some patients. We are going to try this for a month. If she does not respond then we will look into the IV antibiotics. If the orals work well and we see improvement that she will continue them longer term.
Now we just have to wait a little longer( hopefully some time early next week) for the results on the possible tumor.....
