Another month has flown by....where does time go. Rebekah has just finished her 3rd week of Rocephin at the 4g dose. She is seen 4 days a week and the meds run for about 90 mins. She has the other 3 days of the week off of meds. This course of treatment seems to the one that works the best for Rebekah. We did 2g a day for a month with little to no change, so the 4g was the next step. In the last two weeks we are starting to see improvement...YAY ! She is still having one to two bad days a week, but that is less than a few weeks ago at 3-4 days. Her headache is at a 3 on the pain scale, which is way down from an 8. We are hoping and praying that this will continue and within a few weeks, we can take her off the meds again.
As the 2010 year comes to an end, we want to thank you for all the prayers and kind gestures that have been sent to Rebekah and our family. We are praying that 2011 will be the beginning of a better year for Rebekah and that she will recover completely from Lyme disease. Will keep you all posted.
