Rebekah is not doing well again. We though we beat this nasty bacteria, but it has showed it's ugly face again. It all started about 12 days ago when we allowed her to get her grade 8 school needles. I never really thought much about them as they were routine needles, and she had them as a baby. Anyway she got pretty sick after receiving them and has not been well since. Her doctor and I feel that her nervous system was not able to handle the foreign invader and it has caused the Lyme to resurface. When Lyme disease becomes chronic like in Rebekah's case, it often never leaves the body completely, it goes into a remissive state something like cancer. It may never bother her again, but it can. She will have to be careful most of her life as to what she puts into her body as anything foreign can set it off, possibly depending on how well her immune system is functioning. So we are going to restart treatment, and hopefully she will only need it for a few weeks to get her well again. Please continue to keep Rebekah in your prayers.

Good luck. I didn't know I had Lyme when I got a hepatitis B vaccine for a job. I went from functioning to crippled and stayed that way until I was finally diagnosed years later! No vaccines ever again for me. They make people sick on their own even if you don't have the Lyme involved!
