Not a whole lot new happening. Rebekah is still having a hard time on the new drugs, with no change in symptoms. We called her doctor last week and told him she was having a hard time stomach wise, and he said to take her off the drugs for 5 days and add a stomach med that he prescribed. We did that and her stomach problems did settle down during that time. We reintroduced the antibiotics on Monday and by Tuesday she was having troubles with her stomach again, so we now know for sure that the meds are the culprit. We are going to try and give them another week or two and then if still no change, we will speak with Dr.Boucher about what to do next. We know these drugs have worked well for some people, so we want to give them a fighting chance, but we feel bad that is causes Rebekah grief especially with all the other symptoms that she has to deal with. We appreciate that everyone has been so faithfully praying for her.
